- Mr Sharma performed a laparoscopic cholecystectomy on me and the whole experience from first to post op consultation has been extremely positive. He is very easy to talk with, goes into detail while keeping the issues simple to understand and always happy to answer any questions you may have. I am very thankful that I saw Mr Sharma, as this procedure on me ended up being more of a challenge than expected. Through his perseverance Mr Sharma did everything laparoscopically which I am very grateful for. Not having to convert to open has obviously saved me a lot of recuperation time. Thank you Mr Sharma.
- Mr Sharma removed my gallbladder. He explained the procedure in detail, and the possible pitfalls of the operation. He listened carefully to what I had to say and treated every question seriously, and explained carefully what possible effect they would have on the result of the operation. On the day of the operation he was reassuring an considerate, as were all the staff. After the operation he visited me to confirm it was successful. At the post operation follow up he again listened and answered my questions. At all times he was attentive and interacted well with me. The surgery was, as far as I can tell carried out skillfully. After only a couple of days I was feeling almost totally recovered.
- Mr Sharma is a very kind, caring friendly and professional Doctor/ Surgeon , who takes time to listen to the patient, he explained and discussed the procedure with my wife and I before my operation. Mr Sharma also chatted to myself and wife during post op recovery in the ward. My operation was a great success, with hardly any signs of scaring. Mr Sharma is an asset to the NHS and a role model for other Doctors.
- Superb gentleman, kind, approachable, informative and would say one of the nicest consultants I have met. I knew exactly what he was going to do and how I would be after surgery to remove my gallbladder. He made me feel totally at ease and did a fabulous job..So happy to have met him and had him to treat me. I was treated as an NHS patient by using the NHS choose a booking system.
- I don’t think they need to improve on anything because my experience here at spire hospital was great as every nurse was helpful and they took good care of me and the doctor told me exactly what was going to happen so I am happy with the way the hospital is.
- Mr Sharma explained what the procedure would entail & was very reassuring so I was very relaxed on the day. All went extremely well & I made a very quick recovery so I have no doubt I was in the hands of an excellent surgeon.
